About This Product
The 3/4 in. Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect Slip Ball Valve is an innovation designed to make a quick repairs or add flow control through a ball valve to rigid Copper or CPVC Pipe. The slip capability allows a section (up to 2 in.) of pipe to be cut out allowing for the easy installation of the ball valve where rigid pipes do not allow movement. Simply insert the slip coupling on to the pipe and using the Tectite by Apollo demount clip (included) to slip the fitting back onto the other end of pipe completing the connection. Great for emergencies and freeze repairs, the Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect slip ball valve is the fastest, cleanest and simplest way to add flow control to copper or CPVC pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (included). After assembly, valves may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo fittings are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems.
