WOW!! When have you ever seen Factory A/C in a early VW beetle? This is going to be a really cool bug when getting it back on the road!! It has been parked 25+ years in a steel Building here in Lake Havasu and I have a clean AZ title to go with it! Has all 4 Original Paint rims and tires/Hubcap's.
Still has the original 1300cc motor, with space done back then for the compressor for Air Conditioner. (Compressor is not here, but all lines still in place)
Motor looks all stock, even 6v generator, stock muffler but will need rebuild. Has all 1966 seats, Lowbacks of coarse. And a neat A/M radio from way back when in the dash!!
At sometime, the bug had a Earl Shieb Paint job done as so many bugs did back then for "$29.95"!! But the original paint, L 456 (11) ruby red can be seen all over the car, including the wheel-well's, trunk and rear engine area, and most of interior. Both original German Bumpers look great too!!
The body is in good sdhape for it's age, only rust is some under the front seats on pan, but the body itself is not rusty anywhere, even in wheel wells and heater duck areas. This is a great bug to restore, or just get running, maybe build a cool survivor from it.
