Beautiful Vintage Serpentine Stone Carved Elephant - $195 (Kingman)

This is Likely An Antique
The beautiful hard natural green stone has been identified
as serpentine but we are not 100% certain this is accurate.
We purchased this impressive piece in a small dusty antique shop with one
light bulb in Canton China around 1990. There were dozens of small stall shops
mostly selling jade in several intersecting alley ways. Except for the few light bulbs
the market could have been right out of a back alley marketplace in the Middle Ages.
For those familiar with Guangzhou China this would be the old Jade Market.
