I have a 1981 Pearl Grand Father Clock with a Hermle 451-050H Westminster Chime Movement. It needs cleaned and oiled. The case has a layer of Arizona dust inside. My plan was to get it cleaned up and then put it on Craigslist and eBay for $950, I've got four other mantle clocks that need worked on and I'm too tired and haven't the time so I'm going to let it go as is.

This movement typically features an 8-day winding mechanism, requiring winding once a week. It offers a three-train setup that powers the timekeeping, chime, and strike functions. The 451 Hermle clock movement series is built with high-quality materials and includes a pendulum for accurate timekeeping, along with chime hammers that strike the tuned rods to create the melodious chime sound. This movement is ideal for large, antique-style clocks, providing both reliability and timeless charm.
Of all the Hermle movements available, the 451 series is one of the most popular ones on the market. Hermle movements have the best availability for mechanical movements. So orders are available for shipping right away to get your clock back up and running quickly.
